Announcing the 64th Annual L.A. Dysart Award Honorees

The Caldwell Chamber & Duke Energy are proud to invite the community to the 2026 L.A. Dysart Awards Dinner on Tuesday, June 23, from 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM at the beautiful Cedar Rock Golf & Country Club.

This special evening honors the individuals whose dedication, leadership, and community service continue to strengthen Caldwell County and make a lasting impact. Guests will enjoy an inspiring night of celebration, fellowship, and recognition as this year’s outstanding honorees are recognized for their contributions.

The 2026 L.A. Dysart Award recipients are:

• Mrs. Sheila B. Burns - 2026 L.A. Dysart Award Female Honoree
• Mr. Larry Chapman - 2026 L.A. Dysart Award Male Honoree

The Caldwell Chamber is pleased to announce that the 2026 Visionary Award Recipient is: 

• Dr. Mark Poarch — Honoring his impact and influence for our community

The June 23rd event will launch a new direction for the L.A. Dysart Awards, as we honor and present these award winners in a special Dinner Event, to purposely celebrate the lasting impact of the L.A. Dysart awards for the past 63 years, and to give this award the exclusivity and prestige it deserves.  The program will include a special honorarium of previous Dysart Award winners, and those individuals are encouraged to attend.  The event is open to the entire community, and everyone is invited to attend this memorable evening, as we celebrate the individuals who help make Caldwell County a special place to live & to love.
